Affiliate Marketing and Giveaways?

                                          Gift

 http://www.clipartguide.com

Whether you are offering a free report on your website or have joined a huge JV giveaway, this technique can be used to explode your affiliate marketing campaigns.

This technique seems a little odd at first…how can you make money by giving something away for nothing?

For affiliate marketing, the concept of giving something away for free, is more of an enticement, than an actual gift.  To receive the offer, the visitor is asked to provide contact information.  Giveaways are a prime way to capitalize on the human desire to get something for free.

Do you have to give away something for free?

No, you do not and some serious marketers refuse to do so, declining to add “freebie” seekers to dilute their mailing lists.  The goal of list building is to give you a group of interested people who have given you permission to market your products to them and a free gift is the accepted method of building this list.

The gift can be almost anything, from a 3-page report to a 300-page e-book with dozens of variations in between.  E-zines and newsletters are generally offered gratis, with the understanding that the information is provided as a vehicle for sales and marketing techniques.

The purpose is to offer something that will draw targeted leads, that you can market your affiliate products to.  If your targeted market is pet owners, then the free gift should be targeted towards their interests…say, 5 pet grooming tips or a manual on training your dog.

How can JV Giveaways help your affiliate campaign?

JV giveaways are similar to an on-line open house.  Visitors are invited to one main site where dozens or hundreds of JV partners have housed their free offerings.  The goal is still the same; however, to trade your e-book, software or report at no charge, in return for the visitor’s contact information.  When they click on a product link they are taken directly to the JV partner’s lead capture page for just this purpose.

Some enterprising affiliate marketers even have OTO’s (One-time-Offers) and special deals embedded in their thank-you pages to keep the visitor on their site as long as possible.  This is a solid strategy.  The visitor came for the free gift, demonstrating their interest in what you are offering.  To convert the visitor into a customer you have to offer something that they want to buy.

5 Tips for Your Online Business

                          Building

You want to work from home…but doing what?

Working from home is the goal of thousands of individuals.  The ability to set your own work scheduled, be able to spend more time with family and most importantly…the money you make goes into your pocket!

There are literally hundreds of profitable business models that you can choose from.

Tip #1: Choose something you like doing

If you enjoy advertising, you could consider affiliate marketing.  With very little capital outlay, you make money each time a sale is made from your efforts.

Is writing your cup of tea?  Consider writing your own e-book or even going into business as a copywriter.

Success on the Internet is not something that happens overnight, unless you are very, very lucky.  What ever type of business you choose to pursue, you are going to have to spend a lot of time doing it, so choose something that you are interested in.

Tip #2:  Know your strengths

Be honest with yourself when it comes to answering this question.  If you have no programming skills, then selling custom designed websites is going to be out.  You want to leverage your strengths to make your business successful.

Tip #3: Know your market

You have to know who you are selling to, to advertise effectively.  By targeting your market you make it easier to put together an advertising plan.  Good advertising can result in money in your pocket.

Tip #4: Know your product

Whether your product is digital or physical, you need to know what it is and what it does.  You have to be able to tell your customer how your product will benefit them, if you want to convert visitors into paying customers.

Tip #5: Rinse and Repeat

Don’t put all of your eggs into just one basket.  Once you have successfully, launched your first product, you cannot rest on your laurels.  The path to success is paved with one product after another…

The Power of the Niche and Affiliate Marketing

Many new affiliate marketers Fear the Niche!

When first starting out as an Affiliate markerter there is so much to learn. As you struggle through the thousands of pages of information written to make it easier for you, sometimes key information is presented in a way that just doesn’t make sense.

Why would a marketer want to narrow their market?

To understand the answer to this question, you will want to change your thinking from the buyer-point of view to that of a seller. Buyers like it when there is a lot of competition, because then the prices that they pay are lower. For a Seller, this means less profit!

But I want to sell to everyone!

While it would be nice if you could market your product to everyone, sometimes it isn’t feasible. If you are selling swimming gear, marketing to people in Alaska or Greenland isn’t likely to get you a lot of sales. By targeting too wide of a market, you may find yourself wasting resources that could be better used if your targeted market were smaller. This could result in a lower Return on your Investment (ROI).

Niche marketing isn’t as difficult as it may seem as first, it is a narrowing down of the targeted market to get the most from your efforts. As an affiliate marketer, this means less work for better commissions.

Meet Steven at Affiliate Diary. The video below covers 12 sites that you can use to determine a profitable niche market. By knowing what people are looking for, you can better determine who you want to market to.

Let’s take an example of a Niche Market.

If you are promoting an affiliate program for a Health-conscious cookbook, you are one of hundreds of affiliates who is promoting the exact same thing. Unless you plan to dominate cookbooks, by offering every conceivable cookbook, then you may find that narrowing your market will get you better results.

Cookbooks come in all shapes and sizes, there are barbeque cookbooks, drink recipe books, Amish cookbooks, French, Spanish and German cookbooks. By narrowing your focus, you ensure that the visitors who find your site are iterested in the specific type of cookbook that you are promoting.

Your Health-conscious cookbook is already a niche product. Look for other products that fill this niche, things that health conscious people will be interested in and suddenly, you are an expert in your chosen niche.

Don’t Fear Niche Marketing, use it to your profit!

If you are looking for something to simplify your search for marketable niche markets, Micro-Niche Finder software tool might be just the thing for you. And best of all, it comes with a 100% Guarantee! Click Here!

5 Tips for Success

                            Money

Do You Have What it Takes to SUCCEED?

Everyone wants to succeed, to live the lifestyle of the rich and famous.  Fast Cars, Fancy Watches and The Freedom to Live the Way You Please.

Did you ever wonder what it took to get this lifestyle?

Despite, the rumors, money doesn’t grow on trees.  :-)

Tip #1 – Know what success means to YOU

If you want to have success you have to know what it means to you.  What one person sees as success, another finds to be merely average!  Do you want money, recognition or fame?  Only you can answer this question, but once you do, you can start moving along the path to achieving it.

Tip #2 – Establish a Goal

Once you know what success means to you, the next step is to set goals for yourself.  Don’t expect to become a millionaire over-night.  Be realistic and set goals that will lead you to the success that you desire.  A movie star doesn’t start out that way, but by getting parts that move him or her forward, they work their way towards their ultimate goal.

Tip #3 – Make a Plan (And Follow It)

Take your goals and determine how to make them a reality.  If your goal is to be rich, then study those who have already succeeded.  Plan each step that you must take to reach your goals and follow the plan.  This doesn’t mean that you can’t be flexibile, but if your plan calls for you to invest $50 and you only put in $25, your results will be limited by your own actions.

Tip #4 – Believe in Yourself

You have to believe that your goals are possible.  Your actions must convey this belief.  If you know in your bones that you will be a success, then others will feel that belief and propel you ever closer to achieving your goal.

Tip #5 – Be Open to Opportunity

Your plan must be flexible enough to allow for the vagaries of fortune to shine upon you.  You may have planned to reach the third phase of your success in 3–5 years, but an offer comes along that could propel you there in 2.  Don’t limit your own success.  Rather, teach yourself to keep your eyes open to opportunity when it comes knocking!

What a Find for Internet Marketers!

My Marketing Goldmine

Dave Isaacs & Aaron Leighton

A $47.00/mo. Membership Site

I was surfing along, just minding my own business, when I landed on one of those pages that has a video (You know the kind – the ones that don’t turn off).  What was surprising was that I had also forgotten to turn off my speakers…and despite myself, I got interested!

For anyone starting their own Internet business, sifting through all of the vast multitude of offers for products and services of quality, can be quite daunting and…a drain on the wallet.  With a limited budget for start up, where do you spend your money?

I mean it!  We’ve all been scammed a time or two, bought something that didn’t do half of what it said it would.

Something about this ad got my attention, though, so I followed the link and went ahead and signed up for a 30 day free trial.  Not sure what to expect, I mean, the ad was promising all kinds of great things, I logged in for the first time.

It was like being a kid in a candy store!  The first two things I found would more than pay for the price of the entire membership and there were still more links to click on.  Free professional webhosting!  Unlimited Free Auto-responders!

O.k. I told myself, remember to breathe.  The catch must be a little further inside.  But it wasn’t.

JV manager – 2, I wouldn’t be able to afford that for my business until next June by my calculations – FREE!

A customizable Website template library, a customizable newsletter template, an entire library of learning resources…a master resale rights library (massive), a private label library, a niche library…scripts, marketing tools, it was much more than I could have imagined!

For less than the cost of a fast food burger a day, this site was over-delivering in a big way!  Everything I needed was right there, just a click away.  I’ve looked at some of the other membership sites out there, and nothing compares to what you’ll find inside My Marketing Goldmine.  Most offer only part of what you’ll find inside, and they charge far more than the modest $47.00 a month.  Few offer the level of support I found, and not one charged less!

My Marketing Goldmine delivers what it promises.  It puts the tools you need to succeed at your fingertips with access to $17,000 worth of benefits for just $47.00 a month.  When it comes to value, nothing else compares.

Ready? Aim…Targeted List Building

Are Your Opt-Ins Targeted?

When it comes to list building, there are literally hundreds of methods that you can employ. But, what kind of results can you expect to get?

You need to have a STRATEGY to succeed!

  • Before you start list building, know who you want on your list.

  • Know what they want or are interested in.

  • Offer something that they want in return for their contact information.

This a very basic strategy for building a targeted list. But is that enough for you to succeed?

No, unfortunately, it isn’t.

What you may get is a lot of freebie seekers, people who will signup to get the free offer and then immediately leave your list.

Offering a free gift, can actually be counter-productive to building a targeted list if that is all you are offering!

What sets you apart from the dozens of other people competing for the prospective customer’s information?

What benefits can you provide that others are not?

When you turn it around, it makes sense, you are building more than a list…you are building a RELATIONSHIP with your prospective customers!

Meet Joel Christopher, the List-Building Master, with over 100,000 people in his master list.

Don’t underestimate the power of building a relationship with your customers.

Your customers must KNOW, LIKE & TRUST you before they will buy from you!

So how can you build a targeted opt-in list?

I’ll give you a hint…look at yesterday’s post!

That’s right! You GIVE something back to your customers.

The idea of a mini-course, e-zine or newsletter is to give your customers quality information. They get a sense of who you are and how committed you are to your success. They get to know you, begin to like and trust you and then, they begin to buy your products.

Look in YOUR Inbox for inspiration!

Take examples from other people’s success – Look at Travis Sago – The Bum Marketing Expert, his e-mails are breezy, full of energy and enthusiasm!

Or Dave Isaacs & Aaron Leighton of My Marketing Goldmine, almost every e-mail from them is friendly and focused on the customer’s success.

Consider why you stay on their list but drop so many others…

Where is Your List?

Do you REALLY need a List?

Affiliate Marketing is a simple way to generate an income on the Internet. In return for marketing and promoting someone else’s product, you receive a commission on the sales made through your efforts.

That means, the more sales you make, the more profit your business brings in. This is true of any business, not just Affiliate Marketing!

That leads to my next question…

How hard do you want to work at it?

  • You can write article after article, relying on the text links in the author’s resource box to bring in a trickle of interested visitors.

  • You can run your affiliate page on the traffic exchanges where you might get a sale or two from a newbie, who knows even less than you do…clicking for credits to keep your ad running until it gets that one sale.

OR

  • You can build a list of targeted customers and contact them through e-mail…not once, but multiple times!

It’s really that simple. Yeah, me and Einstein!

To answer your question…Yes, if you want to make money, not spend it, then you REALLY Do need a List!

Take a second and read that again…I’ll wait for you.

Making a profit is the goal of every healthy business.

Without profit, there’s no money to pay the phone bill,

the cable bill or buy that nifty program that will make your business EXPLODE!!

Now that I have your attention, let’s look at a couple of ways that you can Build that List.

Take a look at Internet Marketing Expert, Jim Edwards’s video about offering a Free Mini-Course.

You can use the Traffic Exchanges to get the highest return on your investment (ROI) by using your credits to make an offer through a splash page as well as sending traffic directly to your splash page. This is a great way to get signups for your mini-course.

Info-Products for Profit

Information products in the digital age still have the same mass appeal that they did when authors were limited to paper and ink.  There is a huge desire in most people to know things, whether it is how to plant a winter garden to how to program their VCR.

There are 3 main types of information products that an Internet marketer can use to make a profit.

  1. Resale Rights – Merchandise that falls under this category are usually software or e-books.  The author gives the buyer either the right to sell their product for 100% profit or transfers Master Resale Rights that also allow the marketer to transfer the ability to resell not only the product but also the right to resell it to their customers.  There can be no changes made to this type of item.

  1. Private Label Rights  - This category generally includes e-books and article packages where the author transfers all rights to the buyer.  You can re-write it, use it as it is and put your name to it or pretty much do whatever you like with these, including use them for content to optimize your website for the search engines.

  1. Create Your Own – As the author, you decide what rights you wish to transfer to your buyers.  This is the most profitable way to go, since an e-book written by you can be sold for years to come.

With these three types of information products, the possibilities for making income are endless.  You can tailor your offerings to meet the needs of your customers.  Internet marketers are only limited by their own ingenuity.

You can create a simple sales funnel with the following method:

1.  Offer a free PLR report to capture leads for your mailing list.

2.  Sell resale right products and get 100% of the profits.

3.  Create your own product to compliment the first two.

Starting a business with information products can be confusing at first.  The most important thing that you can do as a businessperson is to read the terms and conditions of sale for any product that you do not create yourself.

To be a successful Information marketer, your goal is to find and offer great information products to your customers, to build a lasting relationship that results in multiple sales.  They need to know and it is your job to fulfill that need.
